Sound Alternative fuses a bright melody, a driving accompaniment, groovy drum-set beats and a busy percussion part to create a piece that is fun for the players and the audience. Players also explore the different sound possibilities of the marimba and vibraphone by playing on the pipes and frames of the instruments to create percussive grooves.
